The recent coronavirus outbreak (COVID-19) has created an unprecedented situation for businesses and individuals across the country. At Homefords, we’re committed to helping you through that time by continuing to provide our diverse range of products. But crucially, we’re also taking a range of measures to safeguard our staff, protect our customers and slow the spread of the virus…
First and foremost, we have reduced operations in our warehouse to two days a week. This allows staff to stay at home as much as possible and maximise self-isolation. Rest assured, any members of the team showing symptoms will be encouraged to take time off.
While the warehouse is in operation, the entire team will be working separately and sticking to social distancing guidelines. That includes staying two metres apart at all times with no close contact.
We’re also maintaining the highest standards of hygiene in the warehouse. As well as regular cleaning, all staff are wearing gloves throughout their shift and are required to wash their hands on a regular basis.
Naturally, these measures will have a small impact on the timescale of our services. We think it’s important to be clear about this from the off. While our safeguarding measures are in place, customers can expect delivery within 2-6 days.
